How to Use Audio and Video as a Local Marketing Tools

Audio and video can be very valuable as marketing tools if done properly. Let’s begin by looking at some of the benefits of using videos as a marketing tool. In summary:

In your video, you want to make sure you let people know who you are and what type of business you do. Include your business name more than once throughout the video. Don’t overdo it, though, because you don’t want your video to seem like a television commercial. This allows you to promote your business through the video you have created.

Make sure local keywords are included as well, because you want to market to potential customers in your local area. Finding the local keywords can easily be done using a keyword tool. Google AdWords is one of the most effective keyword research tools and it is used by many successful marketers.

In addition to uploading videos to YouTube, you will want to add some videos to your website. Using video on your website can bring in more visitors, and people respond to being able to see something instead of just reading it.

Simply put, you are showing your visitors something, not just telling them about the product or services you are offering.

Another great way to use audio and video as marketing tools is to create teleseminars and instructional videos. In these types of videos, you are going to be offering a lot of information that is free to viewers and provides them with information that they may not find elsewhere.

You don’t have to go into a great deal of detail, but you do want to give viewers enough information to get their curiosity going.
